It all started with Allie.

If you have a dog that only pees outdoors, you’ll probably understand this.

Allie is one of those dogs. No pee pads, no sheltered corner downstairs—she’ll only go when she’s out for a proper walk. The problem? She absolutely hates the rain.

Whenever it poured, she would do everything she could to avoid going outside. More often than not, she would hold her pee and wait for the rain to stop.

So, like many dog parents, we went looking for a raincoat. We bought a few, hoping they would solve the problem.

Some leaked. Some were too warm for Singapore’s weather. Others were stiff, bulky or just did not fit well. We realised we were spending more time finding reasons not to use them than actually reaching for them.

Outside of our dogs, we love spending time outdoors too. We have always appreciated gear that is designed with purpose—a rain jacket that keeps you dry, or a pair of waterproof hiking shoes that can take you up a mountain but still look good enough to wear every day.

It got us thinking… if we care this much about the gear we use, why should our dogs not have the same?

So we stopped looking.
And started building.
